Windows and Desktop Toolbars
Windows has quite a few nifty toolbars that you can place wherever you please on your desktop. To create a new toolbar you will need to right click on a blank area of the taskbar and choose toolbars. On the toolbars submenu you will see a few commoningly used toolbars which you may find useful.
You can create your own toolbar of a certain directory for easy access by choosing New Toolbar… and then the directory you want.
Experiment with the toolbars, you can drag and drop them anywhere you want to (make sure to have Lock the Taskbar unchecked first). I personally like the address bar the best as you can quickly get to any website you please by typing it right into your taskbar.
