hpaiodevice

Current Location: PC Self Help / Windows Startup Programs / H / hpaiodevice
Status: hpaiodevice is usually run infrequently and can be started manually if needed. You probably can disable it without any ill effects.
Process Name: hpodev07.exe
More Information: Direct from HP - "Device Objects Server - detects all device events and handles all ongoing communication on the device. Loads in the Startup group (except when "portable" is chosen during installation)". Related to various HP all-in-one printer/scanner/copier devices. They print and copy fine with those files disabled, and the icon installed on the desktop that points to "hpodir07.exe" works just fine if you need to use the scanner
