By default Windows has these annoying baloon popup baloons that popup on the system tray and in some programs. Let's disable them.
1. Start Regedit by going to your Start Menu and then clicking Run. Type in Regedit and then click Ok.
Remember that editing your registry can be dangerous to your computer's stability. Editing the wrong keys can lead to the computer being unable to boot. Backup your registry and edit carefully.
2. Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\
3. Create a DWORD value of EnableBaloonTips.
4. Give EnableBaloonTips a value of 0
