Windows XP checks to make sure that no automated tasks need to be run before accessing a remote computer

This often adds many seconds to the access time when you are trying to browse a computer on your network. This tweak involves editing the Registry, as always backup your registry before making changes to it.

Step 1
Go to your start menu, choose Run and then type in "regedit"

Step 2
Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Explorer/RemoteComputer/NameSpace

Step 3
Find a key named {D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF}

Step 4
Now Right Click on that key and delete it.
