Login automatically

If you find yourself to be the only person using your computer, and you find typing in your password everytime at Windows startup to be unnecessary, you can set Windows to log you in automatically.

To do this you will want to:

  1. Go to the Start Menu, click Run, and type in control userpasswords2
  2. Uncheck the check box labeled User must enter a user name and password to use this computer.
